What We Offer
-
Short Term Accomodation (STA)
Our Short Term Accommodation is ideal for rest, recovery, or simply a break from routine. Whether it’s a planned stay or emergency respite, clients enjoy a luxurious, home-like environment with personalised support, delicious meals, and engaging activities. We offer private rooms, 24/7 staff (sleepover support), and a calm, welcoming atmosphere where individuals can recharge while feeling completely safe and cared for. It’s also perfect for carers who need time to rest, knowing their loved one is in capable and compassionate hands.
-
Medium Term Accomodation (MTA)
Medium Term Accommodation supports participants who are in between homes or waiting for a more permanent solution—such as Supported Independent Living or SDA funding approval. During this transitional time, clients receive continuity of care, consistency in their routines, and access to safe, comfortable living. Our MTA option is built to reduce disruption and provide stability, giving clients and families peace of mind while longer-term arrangements are being finalised. It’s a supportive space that feels just like home.

Supported Independant Living (SIL)
Supported Independent Living at Lighthouse is about more than just accommodation—it’s about creating a home and a lifestyle that reflects who you are and what matters to you. We support participants who are ready to live more independently, with help to build daily routines, confidence, and connection to the world around them. Whether you’re working on life skills, pursuing goals, or simply enjoying your space, our team walks beside you to make Lighthouse a place you love coming home to. This is your life—supported and empowered.
Who We’re Here For
Meet David
David is 32 and lives with an acquired brain injury. He’s happiest when there’s a bit of John Farnham playing in the background and a cuppa coffee in hand. He likes going for walks at the park near the facility. Routines help him feel grounded, and he prefers quieter environments. At Lighthouse, he has support with mobility and medication, and appreciates the calm, predictable atmosphere and staff who take the time to understand his pace.
Meet Sarah
Sarah is 45 and lives with diabetes and uses a walker. She loves musicals, Thai food, and checking out what’s on at the Riverside Theatres in Parramatta. She likes being involved in planning the week — especially when it includes outings or trying new recipes with staff. At Lighthouse, she feels heard and supported, especially with managing her health and being part of a community environment.
Meet Lucas
Lucas is 27, uses a wheelchair, and is a big fan of Ed Sheeran. He’s not much of a talker, but he opens up when he’s comfortable. He prefers one-on-one support and likes chilling out in his room or outside in the patio with a good podcast. He’ll sometimes join group dinners or movie nights if he feels chatty, he also enjoys chess. At Lighthouse, he knows he has choice — and that makes all the difference.
Meet Aisha
Aisha is 56 lives with an acquired brain injury and has a hearing aid she comes to Lighthouse for short stays so her daughter can have a break. She enjoys watching The Voice, looking at Christmas lights in the neighbourhood, and going out for lunch — especially if there’s a good pub feed involved. She likes when staff take time to sit with her, talk about family, and involve her in little things like choosing meals or music for the house.

Rather than handing you a pile of forms, our team are happy to sit down together and go through each form step-by-step. We help document medical needs, risk assessments, personal care routines, and gather any required health professional sign-offs. You’re supported the whole way through.
-
Before ongoing bookings, we offer a 3-day trial stay. This gives clients a chance to settle in, test how the space feels, and helps our team observe and adjust support to match what you need. Afterward, we connect to reflect and make sure everyone’s confident moving forward.
-
Once your trial stay is complete and you’re happy to continue, we lock in your regular bookings. Your support plan remains flexible and regularly updated so that your experience evolves as your needs or goals do.
